I moved in about nine months ago and have enjoyed living here. My apartment is beautiful, and the amenities are fantastic including a well-equipped gym, a study and library area, a cafe downstairs that’s wonderful, and a rooftop that is absolutely gorgeous. The building also hosts community events which have been great when I’ve had time to attend and the hosts are very kind too.
The staff is where this building really shines. Maintenance is quick and reliable, the 24-hour concierge team especially Sally and Antoine have been wonderful, and I always feel that management truly cares when I have questions. Johnny is always responsive and helpful, and Karston made my entire move-in and application process seamless. Connor is always very responsive and helpful too. Across the board, the management here is kind and supportive.
The only thing I’d mention is that as the building has filled up, I’ve experienced some uncomfortable microaggressions from a few residents. It’s not everyone, but it’s been enough to make me reconsider at times, and it’s worth being honest about when sharing my overall experience.
Everything else about this building from the quality of the apartments, the responsiveness of management, the great amenities, and its convenient location near the metro has made it a nice place to live.

We have had a wonderful experience living in novel 14th. We toured the building on a whim and leasing agent Johnny met us with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism. It’s clear he loves his work! Once we were sold on novel being our new home, Johnny and the whole novel team made the process easy and clear. We love it here!

When I took a tour with my roommate, we both were in awe of this building. First of all, thank you Antoine for being so friendly and knowledgeable of the amenities and the area. He helped create a great first impression of what it would be like to live here. Some of the other communities we toured had some unwelcoming front desk staff so the concierge at Novel 14th Street was a breath of fresh air. The gym and the rooftop lounge were definitely my favorite on the tour and the floor to ceiling windows in the unit looked amazing. We look forward to applying and living at this community.

Moved into Novel a few months ago. It’s a nice building with an incredible roof and view. The best part is the Apartment Life people (Lexi & Wolf) who live in the building are awesome and they put on awesome fun themed events almost every week with great eats from around town. Highly recommend!
